Sharparrows wear white gloves embellished with the badge, white bracer/arm guard embellished with the badge, and/or the order's badge upon a medallion.

Students of a Sharparrow are known as Scouts. Scouts wear either a pair of red gloves embellished with the emblem of their mentor or a red bracer/arm guard embellished with the emblem of their mentor.

Holders of the Sharparrow

I. There shall exist in the Kingdom of the Outlands an award, known as the Order of Sharparrow, which may be given by the Crown to those persons who have demonstrated extraordinary skill in the arts of traditional SCA-style archery, meeting certain minimum requirements including proficiency in a variety of styles. Other qualifications include leadership, service, activity level, and teaching. Said individuals must also display unquestionable honor both on and off the field.

II. The holders of this award shall be styled as Archers of the Iron Rain and shall be entitled to place the initials A.I.R. after their names.

III. The insignia of the Order shall consist of a white bracer bearing the registered badge of the Order and/or a pair of white gloves worn or carried on the belt bearing the registered badge of the Order: "Vert, on a pale argent endorsed Or a flaming arrow sable fletched vert enflamed gules".

IV. Arms and precedence:

A. The award shall carry with it a Grant of Arms. Companions of the order shall take precedence before simple Grants of Arms.

B. If the award is given to a person who bears an award carrying higher precedence than given above, his/her precedence shall remain unchanged.

C. If the award is given to a person who has previously received a Grant of Arms, his/her precedence shall date from his/her election to the Order.

V. The Crown of the Outlands shall consult with such members of the Order as the Crown desires, concerning the recognition of new members of the Order and the furtherance of projectile related activity.

VI. Amendments to this constitution shall be made by the Crown of the Outlands.

VII. Companionship of all previous recipients of the Order of the Archers of the Iron Rain is hereby confirmed to carry the Order of Sharparrow.
